Ana Yu, RMT
I am passionate about health and well-being, in body and mind, and helping my patients achieve pain-free function, stress reduction, mobility, body awareness and strength. I approach each treatment with attention and empathy, and work with patients to create tailored goals and plans. Treatments involve assessment, hands-on therapy, and rehabilitative / preventative homecare. I have treated adults, children and seniors with conditions including: fibromyalgia, headaches, digestive disorders, TMJ disorder, nerve compression, postural dysfunction, carpal tunnel syndrome, adhesive capsulitis, to name a few.
I graduated from the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy with academic distinction on the Dean’s List, and continue my fascination of the human body through continuous personal and professional learning. Prior to massage therapy, I graduated with a business degree from the University of Toronto, with further studies at UBC, and have had many fulfilling years working in government and non-profit organizations.
Mountains and forests are my second home, and I am an avid climber, skier, trail runner, cyclist, meditation and yoga practitioner, and certified yoga instructor. I look forward to meeting you!
