In the last 24 hours, how many times have you experienced some sort of stress?  Most likely you have biologically reacted to stress in more ways than you’re aware of.  The reality is that our ancient stress response hasn’t been able to keep up with the complicated myriad of stressors this modern life throws at us every day.
Deadlines, family conflict, money, health, and career are the usual suspects that ‘stress us out’, but what’s important to understand is the underlying mechanism which makes up our stress response, otherwise known as our fight/flight/freeze response, is our ancient stress response reacting to our modern life.
