Massage Therapy for Weight Gain and Immunity in Premature Infants

Preliminary research published over the summer of 2012 shows an indication that regular massage therapy performed on stable, pre-term infants helped them to establish regular daily weight gain, and improve their immune system. The study monitored two groups of infants; one group which received regular massage therapy, and one control group which did not.
